Project in Zanzibar

Zanzibar is semi-autonomous island part of Tanzania, on the east coast of Africa, in the Indian Ocean. Its main religion is Muslim, while hardly other religions are developed. Zanzibar’s main industries are spices, raffia, and tourism. In particular, the islands produce cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper. For this reason, the islands, together with Tanzania’s Mafia Island, are sometimes called the Spice Islands. The colours of the island are bright, full of sun. The flora is rich. The people smile even struggling economically as a society. I was delighted to shoot all these photos and surprised of my experience there. I am in love with Zanzibar.
